Choosing The Right Agent Determines The Outcome
It's often been said, and is so true, nobody cares how much you know till they know how much you care. I've been on both sides of the closing table and my goal is to get you there with as little stress as possible.
WHY ME?
The purchase or sale of real estate is often fraught with emotion, especially when there is any other life altering event involved. I'll be there to walk you through the process whether it's a straightforward and simple transaction or a complex and difficult one. Even if you've sold property in the past, every market is different and you need someone who knows the variables that exist and who has the experience to negotiate the occasional mine field that crops up . I not only have 20 years of full time service to the profession, but I hold the highest designation, the CRS or Certified Residential Specialist. Physicians have Board Certifications, accountants have the CPA and REALTORS(R) have the CRS. What this means to you is that I have the advanced education and knowledge to get you to where you're going while avoiding the pitfalls.
In the past 20 years I've watched the real estate market soar in the mid eighties, fall precipitously in the nineties and then take off like a rocket in what became a protracted sellers' market. The current conditions are unlike anything I've been exposed to before . . . and the agents who entered the selling arena any time within the last seven or eight years have no idea what to expect or how to function in this challenging time.
YOU'RE THINKING OF SELLING
Something in your life precipitated the thought of selling your home. It's one of your major investments and you're not quite sure what the best approach would be to market it. If you've spoken to friends or relatives on Long Island who have sold sometime in the past few years, you'd be wise to discount their advice or stories about what you might expect to get for your property. We're not only in a changing market, but one in which the competition is fierce. To get your home sold for the most money the market will bear, in your time frame and with the least amount of stress, it's imperative that you choose the right agent to represent you. We can no longer place ads in the local papers and real estate magazines and wait for the phone to ring . . . it won't! The buyer in today's market is much more proactive. We need to reach them on a level that they're comfortable with. Give me a call or send me a quick email and we can go over the best ways to make your home stand out from the crowd.
YOU WANT TO BUY
It's time for you to buy your first home, or to sell your current one and move up, or down depending upon the stage of life you find yourself in. You check listings on the internet, get the real estate books, pick up Newsday or The Times and scroll through the ads, but you need more information. You need a partner in the experience of finding the right home in just the right place for you. You want someone who will hear you and help you along the way. You want to be nurtured in the process and treated with honesty and respect. You deserve nothing less. I'm as close as an email or phone call if you have any questions. I'm here to help.
