Living in Nassau County, New York
I'm always reminded of the George M. Cohan song when I think about living in Long Island's Nassau County, Much of this county is the proverbial 45 minutes from Broadway, yet worlds away in terms of its pace and comfortable lifestyle. With a population of about 1.29 milllion, the county is made up of two cities (Long Beach and Glen Cove) and three towns (The Town of Hempstead, The Town of North Hempstead and The Town of Oyster Bay) which incorporate the many villages and hamlets that comprise Nassau County.
